Hey friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm sharing a new layout featuring a combination of all of my favourite Cocoa Vanilla Studio boy collections! I wanted to document some photos that I had of my son and his friend, taken when they went to Treetop Adventure Park in the last school holidays. I knew that I'd be able to use one of the awesome masculine themed collections from Cocoa Vanilla to scrapbook these photos, and so I pulled out <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/new-boys-rule/">Boys Rule</a>, <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/you-rock/">You Rock</a>, and <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/totally-rad/">Totally Rad</a>. I was so happy to find that there were papers and embellishments from all three collections that worked well with these photos, and they all coordinated perfectly with each other as well!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Awesome-Adventure-01-with-footer.jpg" width="605" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I often only use one or two photos on a layout, but in this case I felt that using more photos would tell the story better, so I printed four photos at 3x4 inches, and arranged them down the page. I decided on using the Boys Rule <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-messed-up/">Messed Up</a> patterned paper as my background, as I love the messy mixed media look that it gives to the layout. I matted two of the photos with patterned papers, one with the Totally Rad <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/totally-rad-line-up/">Line Up</a> paper, and the other with the Boys Rule <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-straight-narrow/">Straight & Narrow</a> paper. I love how the pop of colour behind those two photos helps them to really stand out. I also tucked a couple of <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/you-rock-chipboard/">chipboard</a> frames from the You Rock collection behind the photos.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Awesome-Adventure-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I created my title 'Awesome Adventure', using a Boys Rule <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut </a>piece combined with a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/totally-rad-accessory-stickers/">sticker</a> from the Totally Rad collection. I always love extra dimension on my projects, so I popped the die cut word up with some foam tape.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Awesome-Adventure-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I created a little cluster of embellishments to the right of the photos that includes a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a> star from the Boys Rule collection, a You Rock <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/you-rock-wood-veneer-shapes/">wood veneer</a> arrow, a sticker from the Totally Rad <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/totally-rad-accessory-stickers/">accessory stickers</a>, as well as one of the Totally Rad <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/totally-rad-woodies/">woodies</a>. How awesome do all of these embellishments from the three different collections work together?!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Awesome-Adventure-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To balance out the title and embellishments to the right of the photos, I created a second cluster over on the left. This one includes <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cuts</a> from the Boys Rule collection, a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/you-rock-wood-veneer-shapes/">wood veneer</a> camera and a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/you-rock-accessory-stickers/">sticker</a> from the You Rock collection, and a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/totally-rad-flair-buttons/">flair button</a> and <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/totally-rad-woodies/">woodie</a> from the Totally Rad collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Awesome-Adventure-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added my typed journaling strips to the right of the bottom photo, and above that I added a Boys Rule <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a> piece, which helps to direct the viewer's eye down towards the journaling.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Awesome-Adventure-06-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finished the layout off by adding a few little word stickers from the You Rock <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/you-rock-accessory-stickers/">accessory sticker sheet </a>around the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here today!</div>

Hey everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This week on the Cocoa Vanilla blog, the design team are sharing projects inspired by either summer or winter. The weather in my part of the world has turned very chilly this week as we head into winter, so I decided to scrap a photo from last summer to remember those lovely warm days spent at the beach. I dug deep into my stash for this layout, and decided to use the gorgeous <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/hello-sunshine/">Hello Sunshine</a> collection, which was one of the earliest collections that Zoe created. I still love the bright vibrant colours in this collection, and it was the perfect collection to pair with this photo of my hubby and eldest daughter at the beach.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Sweet-Summer-Days-01-with-footer.jpg" width="605" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As I've had this collection in my stash for quite awhile, I'm getting a little low on the patterned papers. So I decided to grab out some papers from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/endless-summer/">Endless Summer</a> collection as well, and I think that the two collections work great together! I started my layout off by trimming down my white cardstock background and matting it on the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/endless-summer-coastal-chill/">Coastal Chill</a> patterned paper from the Endless Summer collection. I also added some machine stitching around the edge of the page to give it some additional texture and interest.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Sweet-Summer-Days-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I added a little sunburst to my background using yellow ink with a stencil. I then matted my photo with the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/endless-summer-sweet-treats/">Sweet Treats</a> patterned paper and positioned it on the page so that the sunburst looks like its peeking out from behind the photo. I also fussy cut some of the gorgeous floral clusters out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/hello-sunshine-full-bloom/">Full Bloom</a> patterned paper and tucked them around the photo. To give the flowers some extra detail, I added a couple of buttons from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/hello-sunshine-fancy-buttons/">Fancy Buttons</a> pack to the centre of the flowers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Sweet-Summer-Days-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title I decided to use one of the pieces from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/hello-sunshine-summer-hits/">Summer Hits</a> cut apart sheet. I adhered this with foam tape to give it some extra dimension. I also added a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/endless-summer-woodies/">wooden button</a> from the Endless Summer collection to the left of the title.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Sweet-Summer-Days-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the top right hand corner of the photo I created a little cluster that includes a banner <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/hello-sunshine-accessory-stickers/">sticker</a>, an anchor <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/hello-sunshine-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a>, and a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/wild-at-heart-bitty-blooms/">bitty bloom</a> from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/wild-at-heart/">Wild at Heart</a> collection. I also fussy cut a couple of clouds out of the Endless Summer <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/endless-summer-twin-set/">Blue Skies</a> patterned paper to embellish the page, and added a couple of <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/endless-summer-wood-veneer/">wood veneer</a> pieces from the same collection. To finish the layout off I added some yellow ink splatters around the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Sweet-Summer-Days-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here today. I hope that you enjoyed taking a look at my summer themed layout. Make sure you head over to the Cocoa Vanilla blog this week to see what the other design team members have created for this theme.</div>

Hey everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm sharing a bright and colourful layout featuring two of my favourite Cocoa Vanilla Studio collections... <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/new-happiness-collection-reveal-give-away/">Happiness</a> and <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/bohemian-dream/">Bohemian Dream</a>! This week our design team are going to be sharing projects focusing on the theme of holidays and vacations. I've documented a photo of my girls and I, taken when we took a trip to the the beach during the Summer school holidays. I love the way that the gorgeous bright colours in these two collections really complement the photo!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Life-is-Gooda-01-with-footer.jpg" width="602" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started with the reverse side of the Bohemian Dream <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-kaleidoscope/">Kaleidoscope</a> patterned paper as my background, and then I added a strip of the purple side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-abstract/">Abstract</a> patterned paper down the centre of the page. To add some more interest, I also tucked a strip of the Happiness Good Vibes patterned paper underneath so that it's just peeking out the sides, and I added some extra detail to that paper by using a border punch along the edges of it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Life-is-Gooda-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I matted my photo using the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-abundant/">Adundant</a> patterned paper, and then I adhered it towards the left hand side of the page, using foam tape for added dimension. Next I fussy cut a couple of the beautiful floral clusters out of the Happiness Botanical Bliss patterned paper, and I tucked these underneath the top left hand corner of the photo. I also tucked a tag from the Happiness sticker sheet under the left hand side of the photo, and I added a flair button to the cluster as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Life-is-Gooda-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To balance out the photo cluster on the left, I added another floral cluster over in the bottom right hand corner of the layout. I tucked it underneath the purple patterned paper, and I also added some extra die cut flowers into the cluster to give it some more depth and dimension.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Life-is-Gooda-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title, I used the Bohemian Dream <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-chipboard-titles/">Chipboard Title Stickers</a>, and because it was a fairly long title, I decided to add this vertically on the page. I love how that looks!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Life-is-Gooda-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finished the layout off by adding a couple of little word stickers and a few butterfly stickers, both from the Happiness collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here today! I hope that you enjoyed taking a look at my layout!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Until next time, take care!</div>

Hi friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm sharing a new layout for Cocoa Vanilla Studio featuring the gorgeous <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/new-happiness-collection-reveal-give-away/">Happiness</a> collection, and the beautiful coordinating cut files designed by our talented design team member Gwen. I documented a recent photo of my three kids that I took on Easter morning, and I love how the photo looks framed by those cut files!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Smilec-01-with-footer.jpg" width="607" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a look at the beautiful <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/happiness-freebie-cut-files/">cut files</a> that are available to download for FREE from our website...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/CocoaVanilla-CutToYou-Happiness-CutFile-Preview.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started by enlarging one of the smaller solid hearts, and then offsetting it in my Silhouette Studio so that it would just cut the outline of the heart. I cut it on white cardstock, and at the same time I also cut both of the floral clusters. Once my Cameo had cut them all out, I then painted the heart with a light pink watercolour just to give it some subtle colour. I also backed the flowers in the cut file using patterned papers from the 6x8 paper pad, and the leaves with the reverse side of the Frame of Mind patterned paper.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Smilec-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once I had finished backing the floral cut files, I adhered them on the right hand side of the large heart, using foam tape for added dimension. I then matted my 3x4 photo with the woodgrain patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad, and positioned it overlapping the flowers. I also tucked a few extra floral die cuts in around the photo and the cut file. I finished off the photo cluster with a die cut butterfly to the right of the photo and a little banner sticker across the bottom.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Smilec-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To balance out the elements over on the right hand side of the page, I created a smaller cluster in the top left. I layered together some more of those gorgeous floral die cuts, and I positioned my title over the top, using one of the words from the cardstock titles pack. Once again I used foam to adhere some elements within the cluster to give it some extra interest. Underneath the title, I tucked a little word sticker and a die cut banner.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Smilec-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Also on the left hand side of the page, I added two of the tassel die cuts. I punched a little hole in the top of both of them and threaded some white embroidery floss through them to make it look like they're dangling from the floral cluster. I finished the page off with some typed journaling, and a couple more butterflies which I fussy cut out of one of the 6x8 patterned papers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Smilec-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here on the blog today! I'll be back later in the month with some more inspiration to share with you.</div>

Hey everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a new layout to share using the gorgeous new Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio! For the next few days the design team are sharing layouts using patterned paper backgrounds, and I'm kicking it off today with a fun layout featuring some cute photos of my son Isaac with my niece Phoebe. We recently got to spend a few days with my sister-in-law and nieces who we don't get to see very often because we don't live close to each other. The kids had so much fun playing together, and Phoebe was very attached to Isaac! I had lots of fun documenting these photos using the bright and vibrant Happiness collection!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Happy-Times-01-with-footer.jpg" width="602" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I decided on using the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-shine-bright/">Shine Bright</a> patterned paper from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/midnight/">Midnight</a> collection for my background. I tend to lean towards using white cardstock for my backgrounds most of the time, so I loved the challenge of using a patterned paper instead. I did try out a few of the more vibrant patterned papers from the Happiness collection, which I think would have worked great as well, but in the end I settled on this one as I felt more comfortable using a lighter and more subtle background.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="459" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Happy-Times-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also used a cut file (from The Cut Shoppe) on this layout, and I had lots of fun creating embellishment clusters for each of the frames in the cut file using die cuts and stickers from the collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Happy-Times-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As my photos were both vertical, I chose to position them over the two vertical frames in the cut file. I layered a couple of die cuts behind the photos to give them some extra interest, and I also matted them using one of the patterned papers from the 6x8 paper pad.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Happy-Times-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title I used the 'happy times' die cut from the ephemera pack. It was the perfect phrase to use as a title for this layout, and it was a great size to use in one of the frames in the cut file, along with some die cuts and stickers layered underneath it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Happy-Times-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used foam tape to adhere some of the embellishments in each of the clusters to give them some nice dimension, and I also added some thin corrugated cardboard behind the entire cut file to raise it up off the page and help it to really stand out.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Happy-Times-06-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used one of the cut apart sheets from the 6x8 paper pad and cut the small wreath out of it, which fit perfectly behind one of the circular frames in the cut file. I used this to record the names and date for the photos.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Happy-Times-08-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finished the layout off with a few little word stickers and some die cut hearts scattered around the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Happy-Times-07-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Hey friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm sharing another layout using the beautiful new 'Happiness' collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio! My layout features a super cute photo of my sweet little niece, Eliza, and I think the Happiness collection was just perfect for documenting such a happy photo!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/So-Happy-01-with-footer.jpg" width="603" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I can't get enough of the gorgeous florals in this collection, so of course I had to fussy cut some of those floral clusters out of the beautiful Botanicals Bliss patterned paper! I've also used the heart die cut from the Large Die Cut & Backing Kit, and I've tucked the floral clusters around the heart to create a beautiful feature on the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="437" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/So-Happy-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once I had the florals and the large die cut in place, the rest of the layout fell into place very easily. I matted my photo with one of the papers from the 6x8 paper pad and adhered on the left hand side of the heart, so that my niece is facing towards the middle of the layout.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/So-Happy-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used the words 'so happy' from the Cardstock Titles pack for my title. It was the perfect phrase to describe this photo, and I also wanted to record how much I love my niece's happy personality. I love how easy it is to add titles to your layout using these cardstock titles!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/So-Happy-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I added some butterflies from both the Accessory Sticker sheet, and the Die Cut Ephemera pack. I think they add a lovely whimsical feel to the layout. I also scattered a few little die cut flowers around the page. Lastly I finished the layout off with a couple of the clear stickers and a some little word stickers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/So-Happy-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here today! I hope that you've been inspired my page, and I look forward to sharing some more inspiration with you later in the month.</div>

Hi everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm sooo excited to be sharing my first layout using the brand new <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/new-happiness-collection-reveal-give-away/">Happiness</a> collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio! There's so much to love about this collection... the beautiful bright colours, the pretty patterns, and of course the gorgeous florals. For this layout I decided to scrapbook a recent photo that my sister took of my youngest daughter Eleanor. I love how happy and carefree she looks!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sweeta-02-with-footer.jpg" width="600" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started my layout off by fussy cutting the gorgeous floral wreath out of the So Fresh patterned paper. You could easily just use this patterned paper as is and it would look beautiful, but I decided to fussy cut it because I wanted to use it with a different background, and I also wanted to be able to give it a bit more dimension. After trying it over a few different backgrounds, I settled on using the reverse side of the Sprinkles patterned paper, and I LOVE how this looks!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sweeta-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I printed my photo in black and white to help it to really pop against those bright colours. Behind the photo I added some layers using a couple of patterned papers from the 6x8 paper pad, as well as a doily from my stash. I also tucked a few die cut florals in around the left hand side of the photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sweeta-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title I used one of the awesome Cardstock Titles from the collection. I love these! They're so versatile, and they really take the guesswork out of creating titles for your pages. Plus the font is just so pretty!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sweeta-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once I had adhered the wreath to page, I tucked some additional die cut flowers and leaves around the edge of it, just to give it some more depth and interest. I also added three butterflies around the layout, creating a visual triangle to direct the viewer's eye around the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sweeta-07-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I typed up my journaling on my typewriter and cut it up into strips to add to my layout. I decided on adhering the journaling strips towards the top right hand corner of the wreath to balance out the photo in the bottom left.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sweeta-06-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To finish the layout off I added a few little words stickers, as well as a sprinkling of <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/wild-at-heart-enamel-dots-sparkles/">sparkly enamel dots</a> (from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/wild-at-heart/">Wild at Heart</a> collection).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sweeta-08-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love how this layout turned out, and it came together so easy using the gorgeous Happiness collection! I can't wait to create another project with this collection!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sweeta-01-with-footer.jpg" width="605" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll see you soon with some more inspiration.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm sharing a new layout using the awesome Cocoa Vanilla <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/new-boys-rule/">Boys Rule</a> collection. This week on the CVS blog, the design team will all be sharing monochromatic projects, and I'm kicking it off today with my take on this theme. I decided to focus on the teal/blue colours in the collection to document a photo of my Dad with my son Isaac. These two love spending time together, and I loved being able to document their close relationship on this page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Awesomed-01-with-footer.jpg" width="604" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started my layout off by adding some mixed media to my background, and then I worked on building up some layers behind where I wanted my photo to go. To create the layers, I used a couple of the cut apart pieces from <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-fun-games/">Fun & Games</a> patterned paper, as well as a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-chipboard-pieces/">chipboard</a> frame, a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a> tag, and a label from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-miscellany/">Miscellany</a> pack. I also matted my photo with the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-expressionist/">Expressionist</a> patterned paper, to help it to really pop off the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Awesomed-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I created to little embellishment cluster on the bottom left hand corner of the photo using a star from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-accessory-stickers/">Accessory Sticker sheet</a>, and a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/you-rock-chipboard/">chipoard sticker</a> from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/you-rock/">You Rock</a> collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Awesomed-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title I used one of the words from <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut ephemera</a> pack. I love how it matches perfectly to the mixed media background with the same shades of blue and teal. Underneath my title I added a few lines of handwritten journaling.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Awesomed-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added a couple more star stickers around the layout to create a visual triangle, and I also fussy cut a few little stars from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-happy-go-lucky/">Happy Go Lucky</a> patterned paper to scatter around the page as well. Lastly, I finished the layout off by adding some little word stickers from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-clear-stickers/">clear sticker </a>sheets. These are really cool, and I love how they almost look like they're stamped onto the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Awesomed-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a process video for this layout if you'd like to check out how I created it...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope that you enjoyed taking a look at my layout, and maybe you've been inspired to create a monochromatic layout as well?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I'll be back later in the month with some more inspiration to share with you. Until then, take care.</div>

Hey friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a traveler's notebook layout to share that I created using the gorgeous Cocoa Vanila <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/bohemian-dream/">Bohemian Dream</a> collection! I love the beautiful colours in this collection, it's still one of my all time favourites! I documented some fun selfies that I took of my youngest daughter and I when we were being silly and pulling funny faces!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/TN-Love-Our-Days-Together-01-with-footer.jpg" width="605" /> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started by covering the left hand side of the spread with the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-gypsy-heart/">Gypsy Heart</a> patterned paper.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/TN-Love-Our-Days-Together-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title, I used the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-die-cut-titles/">die cut titles</a> from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/midnight/">Midnight</a> collection, combined with a little word <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-accessory-stickers/">sticker</a>. I adhered the word 'days' using craft foam to give it some extra dimension and interest. I love how versatile these die cut titles are, and that they can be used with other collections!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/TN-Love-Our-Days-Together-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I printed my photos in a grid format which enabled me to be able to fit four photos onto the layout. I then matted the photo grid with the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-dreamer/">Dreamer</a> patterned paper and adhered it to the right hand side of the spread.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/TN-Love-Our-Days-Together-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Along the top of the photos I added the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dreamaccessory-stickers/">sticker</a> that says 'Live a Colourful Life', which I think perfectly complements the photos! I also added a little banner sticker in the top right hand corner of the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/TN-Love-Our-Days-Together-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Underneath the photos I added some typed journaling strips, and I also added some hearts to the page, to tie in with the patterned paper that I used on the left hand page. I used a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-chipboard-stickers/">chipboard</a> heart, as well as a few that I fussy cut out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-gypsy-heart/">Gypsy Heart</a> patterned paper. I finished the layout off with a sprinkling of <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-enamel-shapes/">enamel dots</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/TN-Love-Our-Days-Together-06-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here today. I hope that you enjoyed taking a look at my traveler's notebook layout! I'll be back next month with some more projects to share with you!</div>

Hi everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm back to share a new layout that I created, featuring the Cocoa Vanilla <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/midnight/">Midnight collection</a>! I documented a photo of my hubby and I on this layout. It's not very often that we get a photo of the two of us together, probably because one of us is always behind the camera, but our daughter took this one on Christmas day, and I love it!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/You-Me-Love-You-01-with-footer.jpg" width="604" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started my layout off by trimming down my white cardstock background and matting it on the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-inspired/">Inspired</a> patterned paper. This gave it a nice subtle border and also introduced the colour scheme that I wanted to use on this page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/You-Me-Love-You-06-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I cut out the words 'Love You' using my Silhouette Cameo and a cut file by Paige Evans. I backed the cut file using patterned papers from the 6x8 paper pad, and then adhered it using small pieces of foam tape for added dimension.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/You-Me-Love-You-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I layered two frames over my photo, one from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut ephemera</a> pack, and the other from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-chipboard-accents/">chipboard accents</a>. This helps to draw the viewer's eye to the photo. I also tucked a die cut flower under the right hand side of the photo, and I added a sub-title on the bottom right hand corner using one of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-die-cut-titles/">die cut titles</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/You-Me-Love-You-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think I may need an endless supply of the gorgeous <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-bloom-grow/">Bloom & Grow</a> patterned paper, because I seem to be addicted to fussy cutting it! Once again, I've fussy cut a couple of the lovely floral clusters to embellish my layout. I added one in the bottom left hand corner and the other in the top right hand corner. This helps to give the layout a diagonal flow.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/You-Me-Love-You-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finished the layout off with a few little heart <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-accessory-stickers/">stickers</a> and some little word stickers, and lastly I added some typed journaling to the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/You-Me-Love-You-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I look forward to sharing some more inspiration with you later this month.</div>

Hi friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a new layout to share with you, featuring the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studio <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/new-more-than-words/">More than Words</a> collection! On this layout I documented a super cute photo of my son and my niece having a cuddle together. I'm so glad that I had my phone handy so that I could capture this sweet moment on camera! The lovely soft colours in the More than Words collection made it perfect for scrapbooking this photo!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Wonderful-01-with-footer.jpg" width="604" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started with a sheet of white cardstock for my background, and then I added a strip of the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-noteworthy/">Noteworthy</a> patterned paper down the left hand side of the page. Next, I got busy fussy cutting some of the beautiful floral clusters out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-sketchbook/">Sketchbook</a> patterned paper. I can never resist fussy cutting floral patterned papers, and I always love how pretty they look as embellishments on my layouts! I arranged the flowers down the page so that they covered the join between the pink patterned paper and the white cardstock. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Wonderful-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I matted my photo with the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-precious/">Precious</a> patterned paper, and adhered it with foam tape to give it some extra dimension. I also created a little cluster of embellishments on the bottom right hand corner of the photo that includes a few <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-die-cut-ephemera/">die cuts</a>, a tag from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-accessory-stickers/">sticker sheet</a>, and a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-flair-buttons/">flair button</a>. To add some interest to the cluster, I tucked some of the embellishments under the edge of the photo, and others I added on top.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Wonderful-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To the right of the photo, I added a cute little <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-chipboard-accent-stickers/">chipboard</a> banner, and underneath it I added my typed journaling strips.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Wonderful-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title I used the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-chipboard-accent-stickers/">chipboard sticker</a> that says 'wonderful', and I added it across the top of the photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Wonderful-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To finish the layout off, I added a couple of <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-chipboard-accent-stickers/">chipboard</a> butterflies, a few little hearts from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-chipboard-title-stickers/">Chipboard Titles</a> sheet, and lastly a sprinkling of cute <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/more-than-words-enamel-shapes/">enamel hearts</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope that you've been inspired by my layout! I really enjoyed creating with this collection again!</div>

Happy New Year friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a Christmas themed layout to share with you using the awesome Cocoa Vanilla <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/new-boys-rule/">Boys Rule</a> collection! With all of the stars in this collection, and the pops of bright green, it was perfect for creating a Christmas layout! I couldn't wait to documented this photo that I took of Isaac on Christmas Day. He looked so handsome, and I just love his genuine happy smile!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Merry-Bright-01-with-footer.jpg" width="610" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started my layout off by fussy cutting lots of the stars out of the background sheet from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-large-die-cut-backing-kit/">die cut & backing kit</a>! I'll use the die cut piece on another layout, so this way I'm getting two layouts out of the one kit! I also freehand cut a few stars of various sizes out of patterned papers, and I used some of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a> and <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-chipboard-pieces/">chipboard</a> stars as well. I scattered them all across the middle of the layout.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Merry-Bright-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added a couple of layers behind my photo using frames from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut ephemera</a> pack, as well as the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-miscellany/">miscellany</a> one. I then adhered my photo using foam tape to give it some extra dimension.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Merry-Bright-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title, I used a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/midnight-die-cut-titles/">die cut title</a> from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/midnight/">Midnight collection</a>, combined with a wood veneer word from my stash. I added a few lines of journaling underneath the title.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Merry-Bright-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can see here how I adhered some of the stars with foam tape, so that they would have varying heights. I love the dimension that this adds!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Merry-Bright-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finished the layout off by adding a few thin strips of patterened paper across the top and bottom edges of the layout, and I also added a few little word <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-accessory-stickers/">stickers</a> around the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here today! I'll be back later in the month with another project to share with you!</div>

Hello everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a new layout to share using the gorgeous <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/new-midnight-collection-reveal-giveaway/">Midnight</a> collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio! The beautiful soft colours in this collection made it perfect for documenting some super cute photos of my youngest daughter Eleanor. I took these photos when we were out at a playground recently, and I think that they just capture her sweet personality beautifully. I decided to print them in black and white so that they would really pop against the soft colours that I've used on the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Happy-Daysa-01-with-footer.jpg" width="604" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started my layout off by adding a strip of the Inky Depths patterned paper down the length of the page, which provided a base for me to add my photos on top of. I matted my photos with patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad to help them to stand out from the background, and I adhered the smaller one with foam tape to give it some extra dimension.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Happy-Daysa-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I got to work fussy cutting some floral clusters out of the Bloom & Grow patterned paper. I seriously can't get enough of fussy cutting that paper! I tucked the florals under the right hand side of the top photo, and under the left hand side of the bottom photo. I didn't add any adhesive under the outer leaves of the floral clusters as I wanted them to lift off the page a little rather that sit flat against it. On the left hand side of the smaller photo I also added a flair button and a die cut flower from the collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Happy-Daysa-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my title, I combined the chipboard word that says 'happy' with some alpha stickers from my stash. Underneath the title I added some strips of typed journaling.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Happy-Daysa-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To finish the layout off I added a couple of little word stickers as well as a few more little die cut flowers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope that you've enjoyed taking a look at my layout, and that you've been inspired in some way. I'll be back later in the month with another project to share with you. Until then, take care!</div>

Hey everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm back today to share a traveler's notebook layout that I created using the awesome Cocoa Vanilla Studio <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/new-boys-rule/">Boys Rule</a> collection! One of the things that I love about this collection is that there are so many different colour combinations that you can use. For my last layout using this collection, I used mainly the greens and woodgrain elements within the collection... This time I decided to focus on the navy and grey. These colours were perfect for documenting a photo of Isaac dressed up as 'Ninja Kid' for book week earlier this year.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/TN-Hello-Mr-Fantastic-01-with-footer.jpeg" width="605" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started off by covering the left hand side of the spread with the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-expressionist/">Expressionist</a> patterned paper. This provided a nice bold contrast to the white background on the right hand side. I also added a thin strip of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-straight-narrow/">Straight & Narrow</a> patterned paper down the inside edge of the page. For my title, I chose two of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cuts</a> from the collection, and I added them to the left hand page, creating the phrase 'Hello Mr Fantastic'. I gave the banner die cut some extra dimension by adhering it with some foam tape.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/TN-Hello-Mr-Fantastic-02-with-footer.jpeg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I matted my photo with one of the papers from the 6x8 paper pad and I adhered it to the right hand side of the spread. I also added a cute camera <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a> on the bottom right hand corner of the photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/TN-Hello-Mr-Fantastic-03-with-footer.jpeg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To finish the layout off I added some stars, using both <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cuts</a> and <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-clear-stickers/">clear stickers</a>, and I also added a few lines of hand-written journaling.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/TN-Hello-Mr-Fantastic-04-with-footer.jpeg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love how this spread turned out, and it was quick and easy to put together! I hope that you enjoyed taking a look at it, and hopefully you've been inspired as well!</div>

Hey everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a new layout to share using the beautiful new <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/new-midnight-collection-reveal-giveaway/">Midnight</a> collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio! This week on the blog our theme is 'gorgeous & girly', so I decided to document a lovely photo of my eldest daughter Abi, all dressed up and ready for her dance concert earlier this year. And what could be more gorgeous and girly than the new Midnight collection?!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a look at my finished layout...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Live-the-Life-You-Love-01-with-footer.jpg" width="608" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I chose the pretty Inspired patterned paper as my background, as I really like the subtle mixed media look that it gives to the page. I love that the Cocoa Vanilla collections always include some more subtle patterned papers that are perfect for backgrounds. Even though I love my white cardstock backgrounds, I've found that lately I've been mixing it up a bit and I'm using more of these kinds of patterned papers as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Live-the-Life-You-Love-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
How gorgeous are the florals in the Midnight collection?! I decided to fussy cut a bunch of the floral clusters out of the Bloom & Grow patterned paper, and I used these as the basis for the design of my page. I arranged them so that they flowed from the bottom left hand corner of the page, up to the top right, which helps to direct the viewer's eye across the layout. I used some foam tape under parts of the flowers to give them lots of dimension.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Live-the-Life-You-Love-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I tucked my photo into the floral clusters, and I love how pretty it looks with the flowers surrounding it. To the right of the photo I added the card that says 'Live the Life You Love', which I cut out of the All the Things patterned paper, and I used this as the title for my page. I also layered a die cut frame behind the photo, and I tucked a tab under the left hand side.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Live-the-Life-You-Love-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At the top of the page I added some more fussy cut florals, and I also added a chipboard banner to the left of the floral cluster. I finished the layout off with a few little word stickers as well as a couple of butterflies from the accessory sticker sheet.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Live-the-Life-You-Love-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /> Thanks so much for joining me here today! Hi friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm so excited to be sharing my first layout using the beautiful new <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/new-midnight-collection-reveal-giveaway/">Midnight</a> collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio! I absolutely adore the gorgeous colours in this collection, and the pretty florals! It will be perfect for documenting photos of my girls, but for my first project using this collection, I decided on scrapbooking a photo from our wedding day 16 years ago!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/You-Me-01-with-footer.jpg" width="600" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used the reverse side of the Moonlight patterned paper as my background. I love the beautiful scripty font on this paper, and I think it looks so pretty as a background! I also added a strip of the Bloom & Grow floral patterned paper down the left hand side of the page. I think that has to be my favourite paper in the collection!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/You-Me-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I matted my photo with one of the papers from the 6x8 paper pad, and I also layered a chipboard frame under the left hand side. I created a pretty cluster of embellishments above the photo that includes both chipboard and die cut flowers, as well as a flair button. I overlapped the embellishments onto the photo as there was some white space at the top of the photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/You-Me-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Under the bottom edge of the photo I tucked a die cut label and I added a little word sticker along the bottom of the photo as well. You can also see here the dimension that was achieved by adhering the photo with foam tape. I love the shadow that it creates!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/You-Me-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added my title in the top right hand corner of the layout using one of the cardstock titles. How awesome are these!? They make adding a title to your project, so easy! Underneath the title I adhered another chipboard frame, and I completed the cluster with a pretty butterfly sticker.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/You-Me-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I created a third cluster of embellishments at the bottom of the page, which completes the visual triangle, helping to direct the viewer's eye around the page. This one includes the other half of the chipboard frame that I used at the top of the page, as well as die cut flowers and leaves, a little chipboard banner, and another butterfly sticker.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/You-Me-06-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love how this layout turned out with the soft colours, the beautiful florals, and the pretty little details. I hope that you enjoyed taking a look! The Midnight collection is now hitting retailer's shelves, so make sure you keep your eye out so that you can snap it up for yourself!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Hi everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a traveler's notebook layout to share with you, using the awesome '<a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/new-boys-rule/">Boys Rule</a>' collection! I documented a photo of my hubby with our son Isaac, enjoying the great outdoors! This week on the CVS blog, the design team will be sharing projects featuring stickers... I used both the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-clear-stickers/">clear stickers</a> and the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-accessory-stickers/">accessory stickers</a> from the Boys Rule collection to embellish my layout.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a look at the finished spread...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/TN-Totally-Awesome-01-with-footer.jpg" width="605" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started off by covering the left hand side of the spread with the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-boy-stuff/">Boy Stuff</a> patterned paper. I also added a thin strip of the woodgrain side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-fun-games/">Fun & Games</a> patterned paper down the inside edge of the page. I like how the woodgrain and green elements on the layout tie in well with the 'outdoorsy' feel of the photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/TN-Totally-Awesome-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I matted my photo with one of the cut apart pieces from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-fun-games/">Fun & Games</a> patterned paper, and then I created a little embellishment cluster on the bottom right hand corner of the photo, using some stickers from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-accessory-stickers/">accessory sticker sheet</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/TN-Totally-Awesome-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I covered the right hand side of the spread with the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-straight-narrow/">Straight & Narrow</a> patterned paper. I added my title to this page using a couple of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-clear-stickers/">clear stickers</a>. I LOVE the scripty font, and how it looks like it's been hand-drawn straight onto the page!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/TN-Totally-Awesome-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At the top of the page, I added a die cut label from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-miscellany/">Miscellany</a> pack. This helped to bring a little bit of the woodgrain pattern over to the right hand side of the spread. I added a little word <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-accessory-stickers/">sticker</a> to the label, and then I finished the layout off with some handwritten journaling, and a sprinkling of star <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-accessory-stickers/">stickers</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/TN-Totally-Awesome-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here today! I hope that I've inspired you to pull out your stickers to embellish your next project with!</div>

Hey friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a new layout to share with you featuring the gorgeous <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/bohemian-dream/">Bohemian Dream</a> collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Have I mentioned how much I love this collection?! It's definitely one of my all-time favourites for creating pretty 'girly' layouts! On this layout I documented a recent photo of my youngest daughter Eleanor playing at the playground. The colours in the photo matched perfectly with those in the Bohemian Dream collection!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's my page...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Let-Your-Smile-Change-the-World-01-with-footer.jpg" width="605" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I decided to create a grid style design for this layout, and instead of my usual white cardstock background, I used the lovely woodgrain side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-kaleidoscope/">Kaleidoscope</a> patterned paper. I also matted the entire layout with the reverse side of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-dreamer/">Dreamer</a> paper, which gave it a nice frame.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Let-Your-Smile-Change-the-World-06-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the three sections of the grid other than the photo, I used pieces from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-boho-bits/">Boho Bits</a> cut apart patterned paper. I especially love the one with the quote on it, and I thought that this would make the perfect title for my page! Plus the beautiful shade of purple on that piece matched my daughter's top beautifully! Under the left hand side of that card I tucked a label, which I stamped the date onto, and a mini floral die cut piece.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Let-Your-Smile-Change-the-World-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wanted my photo to have some nice dimension so that it would really stand out on the page. So I tucked a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/wild-at-heart-chipboard-frames/">chipboard frame</a> from the Wild at Heart collection underneath it, and I also added a piece of patterned paper from the Bohemian Dream <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-6x6-paper-pad/">6x6 paper pad</a>. Along the bottom of the photo I adhered a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/love-always-wood-veneer/">wood veneer word</a> from the Love Always collection, and on the right hand side I added a butterfly that I fussy cut out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-boho-bits/">Boho Bits</a> patterned paper.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Let-Your-Smile-Change-the-World-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used another one of the pieces from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-boho-bits/">Boho Bits</a> patterned paper, for the bottom left hand part of the grid. I added some layers behind it using a doily from my stash, as well as a piece of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-abundant/">Abundant</a> patterned paper. I also created a little cluster on the left of the card using another <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/love-always-wood-veneer/">wood veneer piece</a> from the Love Always collection, as well as a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a> butterfly from the Bohemian Dream collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Let-Your-Smile-Change-the-World-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the final piece of the grid, I used the dream catcher card from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-boho-bits/">Boho Bits</a> patterned paper, and I layered a piece of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-abstract/">Abstract</a> patterned paper behind it. I also added a little die cut banner on top, which I adhered with foam tape.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Let-Your-Smile-Change-the-World-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finished the layout off with a couple of little word <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dreamaccessory-stickers/">stickers</a>, and some <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-enamel-shapes/">enamel dots</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here today. I had so much fun creating this layout, and I hope that you enjoyed taking a look at it!</div>

Hi friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I want to share a new layout that I created featuring the awesome Cocoa Vanilla <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/new-boys-rule/">Boys Rule</a> collection. This weekend on the Cocoa Vanilla blog, we are sharing projects that celebrate fatherhood! I decided to document a photo of my hubby with our two eldest kids, taken nearly ten years ago now. He is such an awesome Dad, and I love seeing how much the kids adore him!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Hey-01-with-footer.jpg" width="597" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started my layout off with a star wreath cut file by Paige Evans, and I backed each of the open stars in the cut file with patterned papers from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/new-boys-rule/">Boys Rule</a> collection. This did take quite awhile to do, but I'm so happy with how it turned out. The patterned papers that I used to back the cut file were...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-entitled/">Entitled</a> (reverse side)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-expressionist/">Expressionist</a> (reverse side)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-messed-up/">Messed Up</a> (reverse side)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-straight-narrow/">Straight & Narrow</a> (reverse side)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I decided on using the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-good-times/">Good Times</a> patterned paper as my background, and I adhered the cut file to the page using foam tape for added dimension.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Hey-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I created some layers behind my photo using the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-entitled/">Entitled</a> patterned paper, as well as a die cut frame from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-miscellany/">Miscellany</a> pack, and a couple of labels that I cut out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-boy-stuff/">Boy Stuff</a> patterned paper. I also added a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a> arrow on the left hand side of the photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Hey-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wrote my journaling onto a lined journaling spot that I cut out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-boy-stuff/">Boy Stuff</a> patterned paper. I love all of the bits and pieces that you can cut out of this one sheet of paper!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Hey-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To balance out the photo on the left, I added the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-chipboard-pieces/">chipboard piece</a> that says 'Hey! You're pretty rad' over on the right hand side. I decided on using this as the title for my page, as it suited the photo perfectly.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Hey-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finished the layout off with some star <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/boys-rule-accessory-stickers/">stickers</a> (cos you really can't have too many stars right?!), and a couple of little phrase stickers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me here on the blog today, and I hope that those who are celebrating Father's Day this weekend have a wonderful time with their loved ones.</div>

Hi everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm sharing a traveler's notebook layout using the gorgeous <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/product-category/bohemian-dream/">Bohemian Dream</a> collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio! I've loved seeing what the design team have been sharing this week over on the Cocoa Vanilla blog for our 'Make it Mini' theme! So many cute projects, and lots of amazing inspiration! I decided to scrapbook a photo of my youngest daughter Eleanor when she was just being cute and silly. I love to use my traveler's notebooks to document those little everyday moments!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started off by covering the left hand side of the spread with the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-abstract/">Abstract</a> patterned paper. I love how the bright colours in this paper really help the black and white photo to pop! I also thought that the 'messy' look of this patterned paper would add to the fun and playful feel that I wanted to achieve on this layout.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/TN-Stay-a-little-bit-Wild-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I matted my photo with one of the patterned papers from the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-6x6-paper-pad/">6x6 paper pad</a>. I also layered a <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a> frame, and a couple of labels that I cut out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-boho-bits/">Boho Bits</a> patterned paper behind the photo to add some more interest. On the bottom right hand corner of the photo I created a little cluster using a floral <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-chipboard-stickers/">chipboard sticker</a>, and <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-die-cut-ephemera/">die cut</a>, as well as the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dreamaccessory-stickers/">sticker</a> that says 'Shine Bright'. (A little tip, when I use chipboard stickers in my TN inserts, I peel some of the layers of chipboard off the back to make them a little thinner and less bulky).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/TN-Stay-a-little-bit-Wild-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I covered the right hand side of the spread with the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dreamwild-free/">Wild & Free</a> patterned paper. This lighter paper provided a nice contrast to the darker one I'd used on the left hand side. For my title, I fussy cut the piece that says 'Stay a little bit Wild' out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-boho-bits/">Boho Bits</a> patterned paper. This suited the photo (and my daughter's personality in general) perfectly! I also fussy cut that beautiful butterfly out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-boho-bits/">Boho Bits</a> patterned paper, and I adhered it with just a little bit of glue in the middle, so that the wings would lift off the page a little bit.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/TN-Stay-a-little-bit-Wild-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To finish the layout off, I added a strip across the bottom of the right hand page (once again this was cut out of the <a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/shop/bohemian-dream-boho-bits/">Boho Bits</a> patterned paper). I also added a few lines of typed journaling which I cut up into little strips.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="516" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/TN-Stay-a-little-bit-Wild-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love how this traveler's notebook layout turned out! The Bohemian Dream collection is just so bright and colourful!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for joining me today!</div>

Hey friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a bright and fun layout to share with you, featuring Vicki Boutin Color Pop paints, and the ‘All the Good Things’ collection. I also used a gorgeous cut file from JustNick Studio on this page. The photo that I documented is one of myself with the lovely Dina Wakley! I was lucky to attend a class with Dina last weekend, and so of course I had to scrapbook this photo to document the day! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here’s a look at my layout… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHVbUAcPqbzT1yDCK7n2aj1-sG7oU1XeufkyMboSMQ893_fm-17-619r0XRI4q54wyCQxPxFzVyFMHK8HrlC3hIc5tUuwR9rah7ZCo9y_pCBkaKEQ6K5Q27I8NhTryuhh8TARA_DERwzY/s1600/%25231+Dina.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="804" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHVbUAcPqbzT1yDCK7n2aj1-sG7oU1XeufkyMboSMQ893_fm-17-619r0XRI4q54wyCQxPxFzVyFMHK8HrlC3hIc5tUuwR9rah7ZCo9y_pCBkaKEQ6K5Q27I8NhTryuhh8TARA_DERwzY/s640/%25231+Dina.jpg" width="636" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started my layout off by painting the background using the Blue Hawaiian Color Pop paint. I toned down the colour a little bit by mixing white gesso with it. I painted most of the background, but left about an inch around the edge unpainted. Once that was dry I used one of the Vicki Boutin circle stamps, and stamped onto the background using watered down gesso. I also added some white splatters using the gesso. I love how the bright background really helps the cut file to pop off the page! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2l9BIr1M8Kl_Y47u92HAZyXxYqoBrNcafS_Qs3LcDd5mcv9WUYwtoeJYyumIFpDTShAlmTiEYujLPeY6qNwZuNRQvb6Tge04enIcl3F_lqC1E1d1k_a1B8tlaHMkFEMWAUel1WUqtQz4/s1600/%25232+Dina.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2l9BIr1M8Kl_Y47u92HAZyXxYqoBrNcafS_Qs3LcDd5mcv9WUYwtoeJYyumIFpDTShAlmTiEYujLPeY6qNwZuNRQvb6Tge04enIcl3F_lqC1E1d1k_a1B8tlaHMkFEMWAUel1WUqtQz4/s640/%25232+Dina.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I backed the butterflies in the cut file with patterned papers from the ‘All the Good Things’ collection. I chose papers in warmer tones so that they would contrast nicely with the aqua background. I also matted the photo with the Pretty Words patterned paper. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiW6i42DDnCfdUOQNuMn7L_TFRgMlfxNFX7Pqr2TZcJ-aM9x6xcxWo99OVdoQv-xnEvqqOzyk1zKxxJDqvMU7f9lPTTcXJYh1JnB620NwUAVV6CFtzlHtMPPkKd9UxSgCThTHdYYkb2coE/s1600/%25233+Dina.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiW6i42DDnCfdUOQNuMn7L_TFRgMlfxNFX7Pqr2TZcJ-aM9x6xcxWo99OVdoQv-xnEvqqOzyk1zKxxJDqvMU7f9lPTTcXJYh1JnB620NwUAVV6CFtzlHtMPPkKd9UxSgCThTHdYYkb2coE/s640/%25233+Dina.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To the right of the photo I created a pretty cluster of embellishments that includes a die cut butterfly, a flower, and leaves. I used foam tape to adhere some of the embellishments to give them extra dimension. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi06nSzUMvw1yihe7oQ1G1Jsow2Nu4HrQ6TKQLZXZWiW9ZtRuMRJDalGjrZEJQOdppeO_Kd6fmSeWJI7euP9-rtk_Ljjx4VWdAjqebCW5PB3fVZRaByj80FBKXaqSyJcpLu0TvqSiX07hc/s1600/%25234+Dina.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi06nSzUMvw1yihe7oQ1G1Jsow2Nu4HrQ6TKQLZXZWiW9ZtRuMRJDalGjrZEJQOdppeO_Kd6fmSeWJI7euP9-rtk_Ljjx4VWdAjqebCW5PB3fVZRaByj80FBKXaqSyJcpLu0TvqSiX07hc/s640/%25234+Dina.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added my title using the chipboard Thickers from the collection. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIa_3k19l0Si07yB02qd-OzeTKQxTl4Ilizxnir-zGyYkZYe0U4n0fIYV6xAaxGDAoIo5lQUb3pFMhz2nL6v3bVlDhVJmD4ABxvZjqtKdeaOJ08VzijphnpicaAB5dsnpTVWBykK1Q5As/s1600/%25235+Dina.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIa_3k19l0Si07yB02qd-OzeTKQxTl4Ilizxnir-zGyYkZYe0U4n0fIYV6xAaxGDAoIo5lQUb3pFMhz2nL6v3bVlDhVJmD4ABxvZjqtKdeaOJ08VzijphnpicaAB5dsnpTVWBykK1Q5As/s640/%25235+Dina.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To finish the layout off I added a couple of fussy cut butterflies, as well as a few watercolour stickers to the page. </div>

This will actually be my last project for the Vicki Boutin design team as I've made the difficult decision to step down from the team. Family life is busy at the moment and we have some things coming up that are going to take lots of my time and energy, and I didn't want to commit to another 6 month term on the team if I couldn't give it 100%. I have absolutely LOVED being on this team, and creating with Vicki's gorgeous products! I want to say a huge thank you to Vicki for inviting me to be a part of her very first design team. It has been an absolute pleasure, and I hope that I've been able to inspire all of you as well!</div>

Hey friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a new layout to share with you, featuring the awesome Cocoa Vanilla '<a href="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/new-boys-rule-collection-reveal-giveaway/">Boys Rule</a>' collection! I can't get enough of this collection, it's just so fun to create with! On this layout, I documented a photo of my son when he was just 17 months old. He was such a happy and easy-going baby, and I adore his cute little smile in this photo! I printed the photo in black and white to help it to really pop off the page!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="640" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Awesomea-01-with-footer.jpg" width="611" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I decided to arrange all of the elements on the layout down the right hand side of the page, leaving lots of white space on the left hand side. This design really helps to draw the viewer's focus to the photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Awesomea-02-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started at the top of the page by layering together a chipboard piece with a die cut banner. I love that the chipboard pieces in this collection are all pre-cut pieces, making it easier to move them around the page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Awesomea-03-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used another chipboard piece as the title for the page. I love to use the large chipboard words on my layouts! They make an easy title, and they really make an impact on the page!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Awesomea-04-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Underneath the photo I layered a few die cut and chipboard frames. I also matted my photo with the reverse side of the Entitled patterned paper, and I adhered it with foam tape to give it some extra dimension. I created a little cluster of embellishments on the bottom right hand corner of the photo using die cut ephemera. I used a label to add my journaling to, and tucked it under the side of the photo.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Awesomea-05-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At the bottom of the page I added the grey scallop die cut piece. I finished the layout off with a sprinkling of stars and a few little word stickers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="462" src="https://www.cocoavanilla.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Awesomea-06-with-footer.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love how this turned out, and it was a quick and easy layout to put together! I hope that you've been inspired and that you enjoyed taking a closer look at my layout.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Hi everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have some new Junque Journal pages to share with you today that I’ve created for Vicki Boutin’s Junque Journal Summer Camp challenge. I used some of the prompts from week 3 of July to inspire my pages. I had so much fun creating them! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Prompt #16 Brushstrokes </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first page I created was for the brushstrokes prompt… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBiLywnj5MoOeLrdC2rNg6571qFYVlL-2MDVBMH5Ql1QHHnf0PEpeZSxPGIWLmQfIt2x1ImkNXfgzzmwPLtqvwTBuD25NWi2UZZZdSFOmDwH4a0Cx6iLKN9Q6O40av14kXpHHNHjYYDf8/s1600/%25231+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBiLywnj5MoOeLrdC2rNg6571qFYVlL-2MDVBMH5Ql1QHHnf0PEpeZSxPGIWLmQfIt2x1ImkNXfgzzmwPLtqvwTBuD25NWi2UZZZdSFOmDwH4a0Cx6iLKN9Q6O40av14kXpHHNHjYYDf8/s640/%25231+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To create the background for this page, I chose four different colours of the Color Pop acrylic paints, I watered them down just a little bit, and then I used the widest of the VB paint brushes to add stripes of paint to the page. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had some excess paint left on my craft mat after I finished painting the background, so I decided to stamp some flowers using black archival ink, and I used the leftover paint to paint the flowers. I also stamped some leaves and fussy cut these as well. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once everything was dry, I arranged the flowers on the painted background, matching up the colour of each flower to the painted stripes. I love how bright and summery this looks, and I definitely want to try out this design on a scrapbook layout! </div>

<b>Prompt #17 Art Crayons & Iridescent Glaze </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The second page that I created was inspired by prompt #17… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ86676UWlVfSinyp-IEZIw8wAF1C7Gva2rsf0RMbFclN50MxBHGhYwB1yhpTpsrH1GpIfXgZRIzE-E4-6Tbtbf5_8m9RlLJt_2IJ_-Ia2wibee5KU-SdFc2IzyQWJlVEpzxssXinKR24/s1600/%25236+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ86676UWlVfSinyp-IEZIw8wAF1C7Gva2rsf0RMbFclN50MxBHGhYwB1yhpTpsrH1GpIfXgZRIzE-E4-6Tbtbf5_8m9RlLJt_2IJ_-Ia2wibee5KU-SdFc2IzyQWJlVEpzxssXinKR24/s640/%25236+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started this page off by creating a watercolour effect on the background using pink, orange and red art crayons. I applied the art crayons using the packaging / kissing technique, and then used my waterbrush to blend the colour and move it around on the page. Next I added some stamping using a couple of the circle stamps, and the same colour art crayons that I had already used. For the final layer on the background, I mixed the pink and red art crayons with the iridescent glaze and applied it through the script stencil. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the shimmer and texture that the Iridescent glaze adds to the page, and also that you can customise it to whatever colour you like using your art crayons! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I embellished this page with a few fussy cut butterflies and a sticker from the watercolor sticker pack. Once again, I used foam tape to adhere the embellishments to give them lots of dimension. </div>

<b>Prompt #19 Gesso Resist </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my final Junque Journal page this week, I created a background using the gesso resist technique… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWV3JougqmjnonJ86iIM-U6sRHdQnbE0kNMiaHeOCAAl9YhvscQtttzz225Zw4k80VFml_yAZcEIK1v13vODZ-wnVAz0_JVF5Mqo-oFIWYWw_gwkjGCd9T5RZdlGrGJMaXDPlhJ5Svda0/s1600/%252310+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWV3JougqmjnonJ86iIM-U6sRHdQnbE0kNMiaHeOCAAl9YhvscQtttzz225Zw4k80VFml_yAZcEIK1v13vODZ-wnVAz0_JVF5Mqo-oFIWYWw_gwkjGCd9T5RZdlGrGJMaXDPlhJ5Svda0/s640/%252310+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To start this page off, I applied some gesso through the flower stencil using a palette knife. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9LHr8T6X5qYQyol9MmS99oR-tCZZF3Ob865fZV_IpqMCSCXGlZtFLgapyFheL6tgOcZHlgVnSg_wMh_dn907B_qR6VIrD5V7vFa8x0JaUebGJyMmKnSbnn4qznNFXairuI_Qd85I4gcw/s1600/%252311+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9LHr8T6X5qYQyol9MmS99oR-tCZZF3Ob865fZV_IpqMCSCXGlZtFLgapyFheL6tgOcZHlgVnSg_wMh_dn907B_qR6VIrD5V7vFa8x0JaUebGJyMmKnSbnn4qznNFXairuI_Qd85I4gcw/s400/%252311+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once the gesso was dry, I added some watercolour over the top using art crayons with plastic packaging. I mixed together the light blue art crayon with the lime green one to create a pretty aqua colour. I also added some splatters to the page using a paint brush. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7ChMaHDXFUTpeiDueZFoyJKUYwdyT3bii24jh2NWbZR4msF_HZwSxQjw72QcfNIOQeOMUNDbzg3sdhUB_vfWkF2vFkKQPGXYNYAepOxYjtqk1f35xWHFvl7VVRetRSw17QeeICHQKR4Y/s1600/%252312+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7ChMaHDXFUTpeiDueZFoyJKUYwdyT3bii24jh2NWbZR4msF_HZwSxQjw72QcfNIOQeOMUNDbzg3sdhUB_vfWkF2vFkKQPGXYNYAepOxYjtqk1f35xWHFvl7VVRetRSw17QeeICHQKR4Y/s400/%252312+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I waited for everything to dry, and then I used a baby wipe to buff the areas where I had added the gesso through the stencil. Because the gesso resists the art crayons, it was easy to remove the colour from those stencilled areas, and it allowed that stencilling to really show through. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx-Z5mzduBnyJuVqch9aiOMjPRWtfRCpBjgncKWz-2l7MU6pv0oM74GetyL8zw3ntlr5rYfLOfOqLbsFZ5nN2WPcdGCdyKPf22rYfKBkG75a_zNqc88cXeEInYpiultlUzV-g1IMoRrO8/s1600/%252313+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx-Z5mzduBnyJuVqch9aiOMjPRWtfRCpBjgncKWz-2l7MU6pv0oM74GetyL8zw3ntlr5rYfLOfOqLbsFZ5nN2WPcdGCdyKPf22rYfKBkG75a_zNqc88cXeEInYpiultlUzV-g1IMoRrO8/s640/%252313+July+Junque+Journal+Week+3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To finish the page off, I created a little cluster using embellishments from the ‘All the Good Things’ collection. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Hey friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I want to share with you what I’ve been creating in my Junque Journal this week. I’ve been playing along with Vicki Boutin's July Summer Camp prompts, and I love that these give me a quick jumping off point for my junque journal pages! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lately I’ve been creating mini scrapbook pages in my junque journal, and I’ve really enjoyed doing that, but this week I started working in a new journal, and this one is going to be just for playing and experimenting with my mixed media products… No photos. So it will be more like an art journal, than a mini album. Here’s a look at the three pages that I created this week… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had so much fun creating these pages, and I love how they tuned out! Let’s take a closer look at them, and I’ll show you how I created each one… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Prompt #9 Monochromatic </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To start this page, I painted the whole background with the Cotton Candy acrylic paint. I used a baby wipe to apply it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9lT-DTCSvO4vXMFraV4GuAJXGrbsuKc1WD5Yw_WqVRyKjVk3wFLDpnV8_gHvRn7gI7iHykSc2jwg9tJckRXDcy8bbVyOb7zstiircYDDLs7hUCgCOB4WP0Bp9NCZPzafBzG1M0EZhCnc/s1600/%25232+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9lT-DTCSvO4vXMFraV4GuAJXGrbsuKc1WD5Yw_WqVRyKjVk3wFLDpnV8_gHvRn7gI7iHykSc2jwg9tJckRXDcy8bbVyOb7zstiircYDDLs7hUCgCOB4WP0Bp9NCZPzafBzG1M0EZhCnc/s400/%25232+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I applied some gesso through the flower stencil using an ink blending tool. I also watered down some gesso and splattered it onto the background with a paint brush. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once that layer was dry, I repeated this process, but this time I used the Sugared Strawberry acrylic paint through the butterfly stencil. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the final layer, I added some stamping using one of the circle stamps and the bright pink ink from the Color Wheel. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here’s a look at the completed page… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finished the page off with a stamped sentiment using one of the ‘All the Good Things’ stamp sets. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMrbMsf3y8ofb9qudutX7qioen5FUqxz-T9QLC7gE_OVOi_KFIhOzZ1q_fOZOd_lpWpaiy7Uck2T39nUNvsNciD0SRmz12hduWo_RdhOWlTS5DZg_lQeP-e4ThdRUZBLCfZ-ulWXOQxew/s1600/%25237+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMrbMsf3y8ofb9qudutX7qioen5FUqxz-T9QLC7gE_OVOi_KFIhOzZ1q_fOZOd_lpWpaiy7Uck2T39nUNvsNciD0SRmz12hduWo_RdhOWlTS5DZg_lQeP-e4ThdRUZBLCfZ-ulWXOQxew/s640/%25237+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Prompt #13 Punch it Out </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started this page off by creating a pretty watercolour effect on one of the Junque Journal inserts, using pink, purple and blue art crayons. I added the colour to the page using the packaging / kissing technique, and then used my waterbrush to blend the colour and move it around on the page. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVoLnAck91YU3YwdFYcKE0QFtqW2Ul6b1251tDUypr6pOYFoFfGUHq2YRQR7wRVfidLexjrI6VzYRrHOGr7AsOZEmQmYSaHGxyynhz80V-OPTsZ8v8oKEn85DN-E1yGaDiyqsBVU91JfQ/s1600/%25238+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVoLnAck91YU3YwdFYcKE0QFtqW2Ul6b1251tDUypr6pOYFoFfGUHq2YRQR7wRVfidLexjrI6VzYRrHOGr7AsOZEmQmYSaHGxyynhz80V-OPTsZ8v8oKEn85DN-E1yGaDiyqsBVU91JfQ/s400/%25238+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I used my stencil brush to apply the art crayons through the circle stencil. Because I knew that I was going to be punching shapes out of this background, I wanted to create lots of interest and varying depths of colour on the page. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHcYLf8uUbXmjtrZn1gQXnI1ANVkpPMZpgjA6mO69rS7SjlNIMrIZ7xPUgib6Nq6Q41uBxyiJml4YOz-kA4_RGocYnwA5F1TadmhOQHyYk9pGbRhmahr-LldGAhvT-QSw2jwyybAuCd94/s1600/%25239+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHcYLf8uUbXmjtrZn1gQXnI1ANVkpPMZpgjA6mO69rS7SjlNIMrIZ7xPUgib6Nq6Q41uBxyiJml4YOz-kA4_RGocYnwA5F1TadmhOQHyYk9pGbRhmahr-LldGAhvT-QSw2jwyybAuCd94/s400/%25239+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once I was finished with the background, I used one of my VB stamp sets to stamp lots of flowers onto the page in different sizes. I then used the dies in the set to cut the flowers out. (This counts as punching right?!) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPxXAaxSdqYwwnUs2SZ_VoxtHghAq1_kTfeA2eI3Ud8oNJOihB-okTVVrrm9M40qo_qgNnxXncT_hud0DJuMWsOuwdx7jt1paisGFC92moNwItYZptA0uTwYkCSGWDVUAFCsL3nu3QydY/s1600/%252310+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPxXAaxSdqYwwnUs2SZ_VoxtHghAq1_kTfeA2eI3Ud8oNJOihB-okTVVrrm9M40qo_qgNnxXncT_hud0DJuMWsOuwdx7jt1paisGFC92moNwItYZptA0uTwYkCSGWDVUAFCsL3nu3QydY/s400/%252310+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I decided on using one of the Kraft inserts for this page, as I thought the flowers would look pretty against the Kraft. I wanted to create a hazy white background behind the flowers so I used my stencil brush to apply some gesso to the page. I then arranged the flowers, cascading down the right hand side of the page. Here’s a look at the finished page… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added some foam tape underneath some of the flowers to give them some extra dimension. Once again, I finished the page off by adding a stamped sentiment using a stamp from my stash. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Prompt #14 Plastic Cups / Found Objects </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was on a roll, so I created one more quick page for the ‘found objects’ prompt… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpRIOBI5QjmpYQrrC2pnwMTqGE7PlwmI_k1MxTVoRTVw9E0-AHE6Nbx6khSwn9tuFp-eDNK4dzS0CSXlX5MI_HODCL8K21lj4rAa7FxvB3Z2WMAqr5EjGVX_x61sh7JnSjc7MONIYFoyU/s1600/%252313+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpRIOBI5QjmpYQrrC2pnwMTqGE7PlwmI_k1MxTVoRTVw9E0-AHE6Nbx6khSwn9tuFp-eDNK4dzS0CSXlX5MI_HODCL8K21lj4rAa7FxvB3Z2WMAqr5EjGVX_x61sh7JnSjc7MONIYFoyU/s640/%252313+July+Junque+Journal+Week+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As with the first page, I applied acrylic paint to my background using a baby wipe. I then built up the layers on the background by applying gesso through a stencil, as well as stamping in various cool colours using the circle stamps. My found object was a small medicine cup, which I used to stamp the black circles onto my page. The final layer is what really gives this page a ‘wow’ factor… I applied some gold glaze through a small circle stencil from my stash to three areas on the background. I LOVE how this looks! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As with my previous two pages, I added a stamped phrase, as this just gives the page a focal point. </div>

Hey friends!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I'm sharing a new layout for the Vicki Boutin design team, featuring some fun and easy mixed media techniques! On this layout, I documented a beautiful photo of my eldest daughter Abigail, with my Mum, taken on her birthday last year. I decided on using the pinks and aquas from the ‘All the Good Things’ collection, to complement the photo. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here’s a look at my finished layout… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0BpoaestlOPt-oEwL6qHtbQ8ICvg8XrJho5Dw7vc_M2ngq0UOY9FJlFjue7Jso9iQX48eWrPG1XcHMwrryGaZ9GDQeC959TcoNF0LZlC7aqPHDX_NS4j3a7a7JYB90IYIAxvms7whmo4/s1600/%25231+Good+Life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="801" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0BpoaestlOPt-oEwL6qHtbQ8ICvg8XrJho5Dw7vc_M2ngq0UOY9FJlFjue7Jso9iQX48eWrPG1XcHMwrryGaZ9GDQeC959TcoNF0LZlC7aqPHDX_NS4j3a7a7JYB90IYIAxvms7whmo4/s640/%25231+Good+Life.jpg" width="638" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is how I created my background… </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started off with a sheet of the Vicki Boutin Foundations Paper, and I added some acrylic paint on my background to the area where I wanted to add my photo. I used the Coral Macaroon Color Pop paint, and I applied it using a dry brush. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8ycDvfoPFwcbU3z9YnOpTyBoO1WhLNIcxlt1Shqc2IaIr4cukZS9wSUThUCsqXjIVce29ng9qUtvR0De_hLpCJKFBIWFJ-fluoE6BY-mqUhdEtaYbpYq8e7iEZjw4TW1YUrWfmpFbuOU/s1600/%25232+Good+Life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8ycDvfoPFwcbU3z9YnOpTyBoO1WhLNIcxlt1Shqc2IaIr4cukZS9wSUThUCsqXjIVce29ng9qUtvR0De_hLpCJKFBIWFJ-fluoE6BY-mqUhdEtaYbpYq8e7iEZjw4TW1YUrWfmpFbuOU/s400/%25232+Good+Life.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I used one of the Vicki Boutin stencils and I applied some Iridescent glaze through it using a palette knife. I masked off the outer flowers on the stencil, as I only wanted to use the centre flower. I repeated the design three times over the top of the painted area. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdpYde4kHRfVbugM-bImEX0CE8hGxp4DPmKTlgsFQHqBE7Pz5TsD1J2MaG1jUWoajoNinpGQe8sf8ITX0w6xOVt8TzBnStzsqwJkAalhnyYdl0p4DQr-IJkz4sm3SZeWHQJMEjzURr8cI/s1600/%25233+Good+Life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="571" data-original-width="800" height="285" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdpYde4kHRfVbugM-bImEX0CE8hGxp4DPmKTlgsFQHqBE7Pz5TsD1J2MaG1jUWoajoNinpGQe8sf8ITX0w6xOVt8TzBnStzsqwJkAalhnyYdl0p4DQr-IJkz4sm3SZeWHQJMEjzURr8cI/s400/%25233+Good+Life.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my next layer, I added some stamping using the script stamp and the bright pink ink from the warm color wheel. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhgRqJO72hq3ApFi0d6arZ8JNtPokV9jCZDSoOmDbEEGkH3ibVfkU1F3zi6paFGeo0YhxWn0MLAwxKk3i8MUX-QHFzCHpnnoAIKL4fJXfu_c4wepnCcEPGMn6tyZtCSlRkzzIgDhGe_fY/s1600/%25234+Good+Life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="571" data-original-width="800" height="285" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhgRqJO72hq3ApFi0d6arZ8JNtPokV9jCZDSoOmDbEEGkH3ibVfkU1F3zi6paFGeo0YhxWn0MLAwxKk3i8MUX-QHFzCHpnnoAIKL4fJXfu_c4wepnCcEPGMn6tyZtCSlRkzzIgDhGe_fY/s400/%25234+Good+Life.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And to finish off my mixed media background, I added some splatters using watered down acrylic paint </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho0j_qcenZQd-cg8WcJIhD65Y3jhHJNvitfar-1_ip_7qAhJB8tGilKTyyxcdMQ8ibpWuPHlrj02EdMrvWNhnKXizUiLyHuIqlbyxWkyaQEQ8SYCcx_DKNi2cHRPC57nAPEms_IENmcH0/s1600/%25235+Good+Life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="571" data-original-width="800" height="285" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho0j_qcenZQd-cg8WcJIhD65Y3jhHJNvitfar-1_ip_7qAhJB8tGilKTyyxcdMQ8ibpWuPHlrj02EdMrvWNhnKXizUiLyHuIqlbyxWkyaQEQ8SYCcx_DKNi2cHRPC57nAPEms_IENmcH0/s400/%25235+Good+Life.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was fun to build up lots of layers on my background, and I love the colour and texture that it adds to the page! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I matted my photo with the Pretty Words patterned paper, and added some craft foam underneath it to give it some extra dimension. On the left hand side of the photo, I created a little floral cluster that includes a stamped flower, and a couple of die cut leaves. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikEPfi7W4DIUpiA_scEqMbeOXYiNrl9c-PsZDsmmfiBgOGsLUtIGsc52-XEsa8aBUg-q-WBnrNcH-cQDwyIokKQksq2RkBk6rsLZi-MCkvGuFqPNg8ww8EsTbUM0nFNCW8qrIslM8PeP8/s1600/%25236+Good+Life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikEPfi7W4DIUpiA_scEqMbeOXYiNrl9c-PsZDsmmfiBgOGsLUtIGsc52-XEsa8aBUg-q-WBnrNcH-cQDwyIokKQksq2RkBk6rsLZi-MCkvGuFqPNg8ww8EsTbUM0nFNCW8qrIslM8PeP8/s640/%25236+Good+Life.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I created my title using a combination of the chipboard and foam Thickers from the collection. I love mixing different fonts to create my titles, as it adds lots of interest! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj3rOHssp6UKCbWSyPx6sQqkRrIbwPS2KPoOtl0ZOpUZ5LdijAqWUyY5q-sl-o-2eG7-MstajNVlq1OfEgiUdo7yQoxHXQanl6VZra53MaH3WeSC1IAjJ-Q-Cbs-YubXogn1V3jutYS6g/s1600/%25237+Good+Life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj3rOHssp6UKCbWSyPx6sQqkRrIbwPS2KPoOtl0ZOpUZ5LdijAqWUyY5q-sl-o-2eG7-MstajNVlq1OfEgiUdo7yQoxHXQanl6VZra53MaH3WeSC1IAjJ-Q-Cbs-YubXogn1V3jutYS6g/s640/%25237+Good+Life.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I fussy cut a couple of the bright pink butterflies out of the Social Butterfly patterned paper, and used them to embellish my page. I also added one of the cardstock word stickers at the top of the page. Rather than leaving it as a long strip, I decided to cut it in half to create two shorter strips that I layered together. I finished the page off with some stamped leaves to add some extra detail. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
